On July 24th we drove from Gainesville to Tampa to start our family vacation for the summer. My father has graciously decided to take us all on a trip to visit some of the National Parks in Utah and Arizona. We had a flight from Tampa to Phoenix, which was a little bit bumpy, but it was still a lot of fun.
Here is a picture of the boys on the plane. They have both been on airplanes before, but they don't really remember it.
We stayed at the Embassy Suites which was a lot of fun but the temperature in Phoenix was 108 degrees even at 9:00 at night. Even in a dry heat 108 is really hot! The Embassy Suites had an awesome breakfast and the people who drove us around in the shuttle were really nice.
Nathan and Gavin were really excited about sleeping on a pull out bed at the hotel. I guess we will see if they still enjoy that by the end of the trip.
